ASHBORNE STUDIOS PRESENTS

DEAD AIR. Don't stop recording.

A 1-4 player co-op paranormal horror game. Film the haunted house. Make it back to the van. Upload whatever you caught.

THE GAME

You and up to three friends are broke paranormal vloggers. You drive out to a house nobody will live in, set up your cameras and try to get something on tape.

Something in the house is listening. It learns your voices and uses them. If your friend calls you from an empty room, don't go.

Whatever footage makes it back to the van becomes a video. The video becomes money, subscribers and better gear, and the next job is worse.

HOW IT PLAYS

  1. 01

    The studio

Check your channel, buy gear in the shop and pick a job. Harder jobs unlock as you gain subscribers.

  2. 02

    The briefing

Twenty seconds at the van. Grab a camera, a torch, the EMF reader, a mic, a walkie-talkie or a tripod.

  3. 03

    The investigation

Up to fifteen minutes in the house. Film doors slamming, voices, figures in the dark. The last minutes are Last Call, and it stops holding back.

  4. 04

    Get out

Only footage that reaches the van counts. Cameras left in the house are lost, and so is anyone who dies.

  5. 05

    Edit and upload

Cut your clips, pick a title and thumbnail, and upload. Viewers comment. Viral moments follow your channel.

WHAT'S INSIDE

It learns your voices

The entity remembers who wanders off alone and who falls for its lures, and calls to you in your friends' voices.

A director that paces the fear

Quiet creaks, then voices and figures on camera, then a hunt, then a forced calm. 23 kinds of paranormal event.

The camera is the point

Some things only show up through the lens. Zoom, night vision, and a timeline of everything you caught.

Your channel

Money, subscribers, uploads and an internet that remembers your best and worst videos.

Co-op

1-4 players. Host or join a crew over your local network. Whoever's in the van when it leaves gets out.

Local AI, optional

Viewer comments and the entity's plans can come from a model running on your own PC. Nothing is sent to the cloud. The game plays fine without it.
