Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website, create an account, buy a DEAD AIR license or donate. The site and the game are provided by the developer of DEAD AIR (“we”). Contact: no-reply@ashbornestudios.com. By using the site you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Your account

  • Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One person per account. Don't share an account to give others access to the game.
  • We can suspend accounts that break these terms, attack the site, or are used for fraud. If we close your account without a good reason, we'll refund your license.

Buying a license

  • The price is the one shown on the buy page when you check out. Payments are handled by PayPal or Stripe under their own terms. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it's included in or added to the price as shown at checkout.
  • You're buying a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play DEAD AIR for non-commercial use, not the game itself or any copy of it. The game and every copy remain ours. Don't resell, share or redistribute your license or the game files.
  • DEAD AIR is in development. The builds you get are work in progress: features, content and requirements will change, and there may be bugs. We describe the game honestly on the site, including what's finished and what isn't.
  • You can download the latest builds from your account while your license is active and the site is running.
  • Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

Donations

Donations are voluntary support for development. They don't buy a license, goods or any reward.

Comments

Be decent. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, spam or other people's personal information. We can hide comments and suspend accounts that do. You keep the rights to what you write, and let us show it on the site.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break into accounts or the site, get around payments or download protection, overload the site, or use automated tools against it.

The game and its content

DEAD AIR, its art, music, code and this website belong to us or our licensors. Third-party assets are credited in the game. Videos you record of yourself playing are fine to share and monetise.

Liability

The site and game are provided as they are. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by email before they apply.
